When you upload a credit report, our AI processes the document to extract account information, creditor names, balances, and other credit-related data. Your personal identifiable information (PII) — including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and account numbers — is automatically redacted before being sent to our AI provider for analysis. The redacted data is used solely to identify disputable items and generate letters.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials on our servers. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for information about their data practices.

Usage Data

We may collect information about how you access and use the Service, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the Service.

  • AI Processing: Redacted credit report data (with PII removed) is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for analysis. Anthropic does not use this data to train their models.
  • Payment Processing: Billing information is shared with Stripe to process payments.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
  • Firebase Authentication for secure account access
  • Automatic PII redaction before AI processing
  • Access controls limiting who can view stored data

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated dispute letters for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law.
